Rapid high precipitation analysis
With the rapid high precipitation analysis you can quickly get an overview of a precipitation occurrence in the area. You select the time period, the stations to be analyzed, and a duration level. You will then get a table that shows the annuality of the most intense part of the occurrence for all stations. In addition, the highest annual duration level for this occurrence is automatically specified. The table also indicates the SRI12 index per station. The map shows Isohyet gradients or areas of equal annuality. This gives you a spatial overview of the occurrence at the click of a button. In addition, by pressing a button, you can display time series graphics with the occurrence per station via TopoVit. You can create PDFs from spreadsheets, time series graphics, and maps. The tabular data can be output as CSV files.
This module determines the annuality of a specific occurrence. At each time, the most intense area is searched for, and its annuality is determined by means of the partial and annual series. The high precipitation index SRI12 is determined and presented in color. If there are no series for comparison, the annuality can also be determined using data from KOSTRA 2010R from the DWD. The grid matching the station is automatically determined based on its position coordinates.
